Writing Book Reviews

Hey!

I'd like to share one interesting story from the book entitled ''The OOZE'' by Kyle Maclauhlan.

My hero is a college student, an ordinary one, you know what said it is always busy but actually it is lazy. Although he is living in a apartment very close to the his college, he doesn't clean his apartment very often. Can you imagine that would be dirty socks, dirty dishes and might more other dirty things in everywhere.

Before his new roommate arrival, he needs to clean his apartment especially the bathroom. While cleaning there, he found something a strange one, ooze. It is like chocolate pudding with the size of hand but the color is green. He tried to clean it out surprisingly, but, it is alive.

When his new roommate comes, he shows the ooze to him and tried to find out what this ooze eats aiming to keep as a pet together. Firstly, they test with vegetables and it eats and glows. And then, they tried with ants, it also eats a lot and glows. It seems very hungry.

He decides to feed only vegetables, as a result, it glows as a beautiful deep green. It seems that it does not like pickles tea because it turns black after eating. On the other hand, It loves candy lighting up like a Christmas tree. It looks very smart and can be trained to catch a ball, to jump, even to play dead. Soon, they let the ooze move freely in their apartment.

One day, when they are eating, the ooze jumps and takes the food from his new roommate. When his hand badly burned, the roommate got angry and thought that the ooze is dangerous. And then, they are discussing how to handle this creature, to kill or to train to be a good.

Finally, he can successfully turn the ooze to be well-trained pet to do the stuffs for them. If you want to know how he trains this ooze, go and read the book. You will also find the interesting turning point to some intense when he fails as well.

I can recommend it might be interesting!
